First Presbyterian and Bike and Build Volunteers Lent Their Hammers To Our Thrivent Build

Habitat for Humanity Idaho Falls welcomed Bike & Build's 5th Annual Cycling Tour through Idaho Falls, July 8 - 10, 2008.
The Central States Route 30 riders lent their hammers to the construction of home #19, our Thrivent sponsored build on Wednesday, July 9th.
The next Bike and Build group arriving will ride into Ashton, Idaho, on Thursday, July 24th.

The Idaho Falls Area Affiliate is a locally run division of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate affordable housing. The houses are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.
Volunteers provide most of the labor, individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Habitat families invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.
