Volunteer Safety Course
Habitat for Humanity®, Idaho Falls Area, requires that all volunteers new to the organization complete a volunteer safety course before working at a construction site.
We recommend that you carefully read and follow the instructions at hfhvolunteerinsurance.com. You will see two blue buttons on the right hand side labeled Step 1 and Step 2. Click the Step 1 button.

You will see this screen.
Item 3 shows an access code. You will need to write down this code to use in Step 2 when you register for a class OR select the code, then Copy and Paste into the login box in Step 2. All Habitat® volunteers use this code. After you have the code, close this page/screen, which will return you to the introductory page - the first one shown above.
Now click on Step 2. You will see a login screen. Type or copy the access code into the box that says Employee Access Code and click Submit.
The safety course catalog screen appears (courses are available in Spanish from ths screen)
Scroll down to and select the course "Volunteering on a Habitat for Humanity Work Site". This is the mandatory safety course. The course will load and run automatically. When the presentation finishes you will take a quiz. Once the quiz starts you cannot go back to review the material. Click the green square to start the quiz.
When you finish you will be given a score and a Pass/Fail. If you pass, follow the directions to the course completion screen to register for your Certificate, which will be sent to the Idaho Falls Area office. Your Location and our official name is Idaho Falls Area.
There are many other safety and construction courses listed on the catalog page. They are available to volunteers, and you are welcome to complete as many as you would like to.
You will have to register at the jobsite if you have not attended one of our affiliate's regular monthly orientations. Click here for our calendar for upcoming orientation dates.
